“In the garden, Autumn is, indeed the crowning glory of the year, bringing us the fruition of months of thought
and care and toil. And at no season, safe perhaps in Daffodil time, do we get such superb colour effects as
from August to November.”
– Rose G. Kingsley, The Autumn Garden

I got jacketed up this morning and went out, all prepared for a brisk walk followed by a hot coffee. Curses! It was too warm for a fleece vest, even. Sunny, too. I was actually disappointed not to have fall yet. You can definitely count me in the autumn-lovers club.
Flowers represent life and you’ve captured that beautifully with this photo.
Very beautiful photo. The petals on the flower look so fragile.

I’m pretty fond of fall, and I’ve just realized one of the great things about it: it reminds us to revel in what we have and what we see before it’s gone. It’s that last blast of color and life before winter comes and we’re looking at the bones of the trees.
Thanks for making me think more deeply.
And don’t get me started on why I love spring . . .
