I’ve been gone a very long time from blogging. I left my last residency due to a sudden death in the family and I just got back into town last night. I hope to resume my blogging this week as writing is healing. In the garden red tulips and daffodils are blooming…the sweet pea seeds I planted before my trip have sprouted; spring has definitely arrived in Colorado.
Lovingly,

Writing is healing, absolutely. I'm so sorry to hear about your family's tragedy. I hope you find comfort and support in writing here and from visitors to your blog. I started my own blog to try to heal from the emotional impact of being sick … Different situation, but still very cathartic. I hope you feel safe writing here, that you can be honest.
I'm very interested in what you have to say, so I'm definitely adding you to your blogroll.
I am very sorry to hear of the death in your family. I will keep you in my thoughts. Writing can be very therapeutic, I know it has been for me on many occasions. It will help you.
A couple of weeks ago, I went to the memorial service for a friend's husband. She and her daughter are both writers, and after they read their eulogies we talked about the healing power of getting your thoughts on paper. I often think that, as long as you keep your thoughts locked up in your head, they have power over you. If you release them, on paper or in conversations, you have power over them.
