Woke up to a 66 degree morning…30 full degrees less than the hottest day this week! The cooler temperature means my walk with the dogs will be comfortable and work will be tolerable and maybe we can eat on the patio this evening!
This morning even the garden seems to be appreciating the lower temperature…pink and magenta cosmos have just bloomed as well as some dark purple larkspur and cornflower blue bachelor’s buttons. The perennial sweet peas are spilling over the gate and although they are abundant the flowers have no fragrance. I’ll need to wait a little longer for the annual sweet peas that are bred for fragrance and picking (long stems.)
I’m scheduling in some creative writing for tomorrow if I don’t put it on my calendar as a job I can easily work on something else. I thought this video was really well done have you seen it?
