What to do when…

Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.
Edgar Allan Poe

I love getting The Writer’s Almanac in my inbox every morning, I’m exposed to many different writers and poets that I probably wouldn’t find on my own, it’s inspired me to read more of their work, it’s FREE, and it engages my mind with words first thing.

Yesterday’s poem by poet Roseann Lloyd gave me an idea for a poetry prompt.

Today start a poem with the title What to do when and fill in the rest. You can be serious or make it a comical poem. You’ll see what I mean when you read her poem
What to do the first Morning the Sun Comes Back. Now get back to work!

Lovingly,
The Writing Nag
